There are many factors in my life that have provided me support in my life.
The first factor is my faith in God which provides me with the emotional support I need in life whenever I feel discouraged.
Another factor in my life is my family. I have been blessed to have a loving husband, two sons, and recently adopted son who is my nephew that lost his father two weeks ago. They all have provided me emotional support and physical support because we keep each other encouraged and my family helps around the house by cleaning and cooking.
The challenge that I imagine to have at the moment is not being able to be a support to my friends and family because I am not emotionally available. I currently work a lot and I can imagine how that can effect my family because they need me to be there for them physically and emotionally. My family needs to have a home cooked meal every now and then and have someone available to talk to especially since we all just recently lost a close family member tragically due to a seizure. It would be a challenge to me if my family did not have the time to be emotionally and physically available to me after I lost my mother. I would want and need someone to encourage me and to keep me motivated to live. I would be so depressed that the last thing I would want to do is to clean and to cook.

My connections to play
My childhood may be over, but that doesn’t mean playtime is. Ron Olson
We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. George Bernard Shaw
(Black) My Buddy

My parents exposed me to play by providing many opportunities for play in my childhood. I as a young girl had many dolls and would pretend to have tea parties and have a hair boutique in my y bedroom. I remember that when I was in daycare their was a home living center where you could pretend to clean the house and cook dinner. Today many of the centers are like this in daycare. When I was kindergarten however we had more opportunities to play but kindergarten today is more curriculum based. I believe that play taught me how to communicate with people more throughout my adulthood and gave me more confidence to approach people because I would play more with my classmates.
